Pitch Perfect: Craft an Elevator Pitch That Opens Doors
Your elevator pitch is more than a quick introduction - it's your opportunity to spark interest, build connection, and start meaningful conversations. Pitch Perfect is an interactive workshop designed to help professionals confidently articulate who they are, what they do, and why it matters.
Learn directly from four seasoned Chamber members and master networkers who know firsthand what works in real-world networking situations. Drawing on decades of experience across industries, community leadership, and relationship-building, our panelists will share practical strategies, personal insights, and proven techniques to help you refine a pitch that feels authentic, memorable, and effective.

Meet the Experts:

  • Dan Gelfond brings over 25 years of Chamber involvement and more than two decades leading the First Friday networking group. A business owner, nonprofit co-founder, former board member, and lifelong connector, Dan’s passion for networking is rooted in helping others succeed.
  • Kimberly Cortesi, a Chamber member for three years and current Ambassador, is driven by the power of relationships. With 17 years in community banking, Kimberly understands how trust, consistency, and genuine connection fuel both business and community growth.
  • Matt Settler, a Chamber member for over 15 years, has been deeply involved in signature events including the Golf Outing, Auction, and Taste. A local insurance broker with 15 years of experience, Matt is known for guiding others, making introductions, and helping people feel confident navigating Chamber opportunities.
  • Geoff Horwitz, founder of The MacMentor, built his business from a passion for patiently sharing knowledge and solving real problems. A Chamber member since 2012, Geoff combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to community service and giving back locally and globally.
Whether you’re new to networking or looking to sharpen your message, Pitch Perfect will help you walk away with a clear, compelling elevator pitch—and the confidence to use it anywhere. The workshop is limited to 30 participants.
