Disability Awareness Event

The Village of Northbrook Special Needs Inclusion Commission is partnering with the Chamber, JJ’s List, and the Northbrook Public Library to offer a disability awareness training event for local business owners and employees. This free event features a highly interactive training led by the Disability Players, a dynamic troupe that specializes in training businesses how to communicate comfortably and appropriately with customers, co-workers or potential hires who have disabilities.

The event includes a complimentary breakfast (coffee, bagels, etc) and a meet & greet expo where local businesses can connect with local special needs organizations that offer employment programs in Northbrook and learn about the benefits of employing people with disabilities.
